22-YEAR old student, Marcelino, obtained serious injuries as 20 unidentified males attacked the student for no evident reason last August 23 in the streets of Recto.
The victim and a companion were on their way home from a drinking session at YES KTV Bar along CM Recto at around 9:10pm.
Suddenly, a group of 20 individuals with no apparent reason attacked the victim with a steel pipe.
After the men took turns in battering the young boy, they walked away casually as if nothing happened.
The victim was rushed by his companion to the UST Medical Hospital for treatment. He received lacerated wounds in the right eye and several contusions on the head.
